Apa Itu Teknologi FDM?
Printer 3D dengan teknologi FDM yaitu proses print layer by layer (lapis demi lapis) dengan menggunakan bahan material plastik yang berbentuk filamen. Cara kerja nya yaitu plastik filamen dipanaskan kemudian diteteskan layer by layer hingga membentuk benda padat 3 dimensi.

Material Apa yang Digunakan Oleh Printer FDM?
Dalam dunia industri; bahan plastik dikelompokan menjadi 3 yaitu:
  • Standar plastik yaitu plastik yang sering kita temukan sehari-hari seperti TV, handphone, mobil, dll
  • Plastik Engineering yaitu biasa digunakan sebagai tools di dunia industri karena kekuatan nya
  • Plastik High Performance yaitu plastik paling kuat, paling tahan panas. plastik ini sangat kuat dan sering digunakan diindustri pesawat terbang.
namun tidak semua printer yang menggunakan teknologi FDM (bahan filament) bisa menggunakan semua bahan diatas. khusus nya untuk plastik high performance dibutuhkan mesin dengan teknologi dan spesifikasi tinggi untuk dapat menggunakannya.
